How do I know if I need an expert witness?

The Expert Witness does not handle the case and acts as your attorney. His job is to act as a resource for your attorney in specific subject matters.

As a certified Firearms Examiner, Mr. Watkins has handled over 10,000 firearms. This ranges from firearms that pre-date the Civil War to present-day firearms.

Mr. Watkins has experience evaluating crime scene evidence processing.

Mr. Watkins testified in over 200 trials regarding firearms and has intimate knowledge of the legal system.

As a Firearms Examiner and Manager, Mr. Watkins understands the legal issues of processing, examining, and rendering opinions regarding firearms and firearms-related evidence.

Mr. Watkins also has extensive experience in shooting scene reconstruction, gunshot residue analysis, and its presentation in a court of law.
